In Memory of a Porous BorderPanel discussion and artistic responses to the Border Art Archive
As part of the exhibition For History, Change Position, we invite you to a memorial gathering for the porous Norwegian-Russian border - a border shaped by exchange, collaboration and movement from around 1990 until 2022.

The programme includes a panel discussion reflecting on the Border Art Archive and the exhibition For History, Change Position from a range of disciplinary perspectives, with participants including art historian Elin Kristine Haugdal and border researcher Ekaterina Mikhailova.
There will also be a multilingual performance of poetic and philosophical texts compiled from material in the Border Art Archive. Artists Ivan Galuzin, Arne Skaug Olsen and Toril Johannessen will contribute artistic responses developed especially for the occasion.
